Soundproof boxes
High end modular acoustics.
Almost everybody knows that sound work needs accuracy and performance. To obtain a high level of performance, it costs a lot of money because the quality is in the details, not just a few but tons if not thousand. Details are linked to the structure, to the vibrations, to the materials, to the fixing points etc...
Not everyone is able to pay for the state of art of recording suites because
- They don't have enough space
- They can not afford the costs of a state of art building dedicated to the sound industry.
- They don't need that level of perfection.
- The height is limited.
But what everybody need is the efficiency, the reliability and the performances.
Would you personally be ready to invest a substantial amount of money without a real description of the performances?
Because this acoustic modular room is a new concept, this brochure will give you all the technical and non technical information needed. And if it is not enough you can come in our workshop and listen.
This modular concept is the fruit of years' work at the service of our customers. Musicians, radios, broadcasters, post pro, film mixers, Folley's etc... From our smallest up to our biggest customers, we have always made our best to offer the best solutions, spending hours and hours in measurements, in listening sessions, in various tests in anechoic and reverberant rooms. Thanks to our experience, we can guarantee stable and proven results.
The advantages of our modular rooms are:
- Express solution
- Removable solution
- Clean solutions (a solution where you do not make dirt nor grimes)
- Ready made acoustics
- Proven results
You can rely on our Modular Acoustic Solution

There are two ways to obtain a good isolation:
- The law of mass
- The law of mass spring mass.
Applying the mass law, only the mass will be taken into consideration. Heavy and thick, probably two times to be sure that all mechanical transmission will be avoided.
Applying the mass spring mass law, the mass is used at its minimum because the various materials are connected together via spring elements carefully studied. If it is well manufactured, the isolations results can be spectacular. Regrettably the vibrations of the materials which guarantee the insulation are also going to annul the quality of the internal acoustics. In conclusion we can say: The mass law is too heavy for a modular solution. The mass spring mass law always gives poor results inside the room. Internal vibrations will always introduce non linearity. We decided to mix both laws. The mass is the external border and the spring mass is the internal solution of the panels. This mix is difficult to achieve but it gives the most positive and reiterative solutions.
In conclusion we can say:
The mass law is too heavy for a modular solution.
Different implemented materials give spectacular results.
The mass makes the external border. It is the first barrier that gives the isolation.
The mass spring mass is damped and gives the internal acoustic.
A great care is given to the different elements that fit into the "sandwich".
Thanks to this "sandwich" we are able to absorb all the frequencies down 45 Hz without introducing phase variation into the room.
Our concept is transparent and free of non linearity.
The cabin exists in three levels of insulation. 35, 45 and 50 DbA.
Isolation :The external sheet of metal is highly damped and insures great isolation. All the rooms are built with standard panels. These panels have various levels of isolation
| Freq | Top performance | High performance | Standard dBA |
| 6 Khz | 60 | 56 | 50 |
| 4 Khz | 56 | 51 | 45 |
| 2 Khz | 53 | 48 | 42 |
| 1 Khz | 53 | 48 | 41 |
| 500 hz | 50 | 45 | 38 |
| 250 hz | 45 | 40 | 33 |
| 125 hz | 40 | 35 | 27 |
On the other hand, the reverberation time measurement and the diminution of the sound signal are remarkable and offer performances deserving the largest studios.
Reverberation time:
The control of the sound quality in the room is one of the strongest points of these modular rooms.
The decrease of the sound pressure level in a room demonstrates how the room is reacting.
A fast and constant decrease at all frequencies demonstrates a very good control of the reverberation time.
