RTBF Namur

This studio is a “self op” on air studio.
So the goal was to make it sound right for both the sound miking and the sound monitoring wit active monitors.

The room itself is non symmetrical and full of windows. One side is a huge window viewing the street.

The box for the air flow has been designed to work also as a basstrap. This system tuned down to the lowest frequencies.

The Helmholtz Resonators are located on the bottom and top of the walls to ensure a non reflective environment.

The mid part of the walls is fully absorbent.

The large table is built with ergonomics in mind. Each position is calibrated to get perfect working conditions.
