RTBF (Charleroi)

The Belgian National Television, RTBF (Charleroi), is today fully equipped with FAR Active Monitors.

The main control room is equipped with Dolby Surround SDU4 and SEU4, and a full digital Stagetec Cantus mixing desk (fully automated). This desk is connected on a Nexus network via optical fiber.

The three front speakers chosen are the 3-way active FAR AV-20. Four AV-2 are located in surround. All these speakers are connected through the RC-2 remote control, that allows different frequency response adjustments. The one that replicates the TV curves is the most used. FAR also managed the acoustic design of the main control room.
All other technical rooms are equipped with AV-2 monitors.
